Here are the Lightroom and Photoshop edits of some of my photographs.

This first edit I completed using Lightroom and Photoshop. In Lightroom, I used the adjustment brush to make the exposure of the background whiter, to get rid the creases in the backdrop. I then increased the black colours, to bring up the clarity on the performers outfit. The photo one the right was edited in Photoshop. I copied the image twice, adding them to different layers, and then I rubbed out the parts that overlapped onto the other images, and then I made each version slightly more transparent than

This photo was taken using the bulb effect on the camera, so I haven't overlapped several images to create this edit. I brought down the shadow and blacks amount on this image to give the centre of the two performers a solid black image in the middle. I also brought up the clarity to +100 because then I was able to see the movements more clearly. The original image was quite yellow so I enhanced the yellow hue to get this result. I then used the tone curve to make final adjustments about what areas I wanted to be slightly lighter and darker.

This edit is the same as the above edit, accept I made it black and white. By doing this, it gave my image and kind of purple colouring which I really like. I also like how this has more of a white backdrop.
The below edit, is a combination of the above two edits. I imported the two edits into Photoshop, layered them up and used the rubber to rub out the parts that I wanted to get rid of. I placed the black and white version over the yellow edit to create the image on the left. I then decided to rub out certain areas to get a variety of colours coming through. I then added the black and white version again, but I flipped it. As much as I like this edit, I wish I had also added the yellow version to the right side, because I really like how they overlap on the right hand side of the picture.
In this edit, I basically did the same as I did in the first Lightroom edit above. I used the adjustment brush to make the background more exposed, which makes it white. This makes the performer more eye catching. I also brought up the black colour to make his outfit clearer.
In this edit I took down the shadow and black amount so I could get a clear solid black colour in the middle of the two performers. I then took up the amount of the vibrance, clarity and the saturation to get a bright and multicoloured effect. I then enhanced the colours by changing their hues and using the temperature and tint effect. I really like this edit and I think it will be one of my final photos.

Although I didn't take this photo, I have edited it. I took down the shadows and the black colours to give a more even and dark background. I then increased the vibrance and saturation to make the colours more visible.
In Lightroom I brought down the black colours to -100 to get rid of the tables that can be seen in the original photo. I then copied a part of the black background and placed it over the yellow spot that's in the original picture. Then I put up the clarity, vibrance and the saturation to get the brightest effect on the lights. I think perhaps I could have gotten rid of the circle line at the bottom as it doesn't look apart of the rest of the circle of lights.
In the above photo I did the same as I did to the other two dance performers, increased the exposure on the background, however I don't think I brought up the red of her leotard.
